Hi, I know your project is in England, but City & County of Swansea have recently developed a ‘Community Connectors’ pilot project and are really keen to evaluate the work and undertake action learning in this complex but rewarding area of work. Is it possible to have a discussion about this work with someone? I have just been seconded from City & County of Swansea to Swansea University to explore the development of a Making Research Count model for Wales – a NISCHR funded project (initially until June 2015). I am working with colleagues in Cardiff and Bangor Universities on supporting the development of research informed practice in social care and building capacity for social care research in Wales. I will be working closely with my colleagues in the Local Authority. The ‘Community Connectors’ work is one area, they want me and academic colleagues to support them with. Hi Nick, It will be great to talk to you about this. We are only funded to undertake research in England, but I think the learning from the study should be shared wider than that. It would be great to catch up to explore this further. All the best, Martin
